New items on etsy

I've just added a few more items to my etsy shop - a pretty Valentine's card I designed and two hand-printed greetings cards that I made at home using my own little screen printing studio. Favourite things - Mail Me Art

Happy New Year! For my first blog of 2010 I'd like to show you a postcard I've just created for Mail Me Art, a great project organised by Darren Di Leito where anyone can create a piece of art on any material they like (most commonly envelopes) and post it to him. The first round resulted in an exhibition and a book so it's well worth checking out...www.mailmeart.com.

I had great fun creating my this piece using all manner of things lying around my studio for inspiration...ribbons, paper, sequins and of course fashion magazines! Let's just hope it gets through the postal system ok...
